Acclaimed by critics worldwide for his exceptional talent and magnificent tone, 25-year-old American violinist Chad Hoopes has been appearing with numerous ensembles throughout the world since he won the first prize at the Young Artists Division of the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition. Highlights of the current season include performances with Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Queensland Symphony Orchestra as well as recitals at Ravinia Festival and Lincoln Center’s Sunday Morning Coffee Concerts in New York City. Other recent engagements include a highly successful debut with Orchestre de Paris at Salle Pleyel, his recital debut at Tonhalle Zürich as well as performances with leading orchestras such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Houston Symphony, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo. In March 2017, he received the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant.
