Bowmaker Massimo Lucchi visits GMCMF on July 2

Master bowmaker Massimo Lucchi will explain how our bow can make such a profound difference in how we play and how our instruments sound.

He will present his research into wood tonal dynamics and will discuss the fine craft of bow-making at 7PM on Monday, July 2 in Room 138, off the lobby of Wing-Davis-Wilkes dorm on the campus of UVM. After the presentation, Mr. Lucci will be available to GMCMF students to evalulate their bows and discuss their match to different instruments.

This lecture is presented in cooperation with the Burlington Violin Shop.
