In summer 2023, GMCMF presented two Quartet Hops as part of our Classical Encounters initiative, in which student chamber ensembles performed at various establishments in Church Street Marketplace, downtown Burlington on July 8 and the artsy south end on July 15. Attendees were given a schedule of performances and enjoyed a ‘walkable concert’ throughout the morning and early afternoon. The events aimed to create an exchange between the business community and arts community in the greater Burlington area, and deepen the connection between Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival and our community. The Festival is excited to again present Quartet Hops during the 2024 summer program.
