Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival announces the addition of the Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet to the 2022 guest artist roster. “Renowned for its dynamic interpretations and polished, expansive colors, the Parker Quartet has rapidly distinguished itself as one of the preeminent ensembles of its generation, dedicated purely to the sound and depth of their music, and has appeared at the world’s most important venues since its founding in 2002.” http://www.parkerquartet.com
On July 5, the quartet will perform on GMCMF’s Artist Faculty Concert Series. This concert is presented in coordination with the Music for Food project, a musician-led initiative to fight hunger in local communities. We will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items at the door to be donated to a local food pantry, such as:
Cereals: cheerios, raisin bran, rice krispies, corn flakes
Condiments: ketchup, mustard, mayo
Pasta sauce without meat
Progresso or Campbell Chunky soups with either chicken or beef
Tuna
