Amanda Stenroos
Amanda Stenroos serves as General Manager of the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, bringing experience in arts administration, performance, and music education to the festival.
Ms. Stenroos holds a Master of Music from The University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she studied with Elizabeth Chang, and a Bachelor of Music in violin performance from the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in Berea, Ohio, where she studied with Julian Ross and Annie Fullard. She has performed throughout the United States and internationally to Bolivia, Italy, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
As an arts administrator, Ms. Stenroos has demonstrated a commitment to fostering classical music through innovative programming and organizational leadership. She is co-founder of the biennial Bach Festival and Symposium at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and has successfully managed multiple concert series and ensembles including Lighthouse Chamber Players, Victory Players, and Norwottuck Chamber Concerts.
An educator trained in the Suzuki method, Ms. Stenroos maintains an active teaching studio in the Pioneer Valley and performs regularly throughout New England as a member of the Cushman Quartet and in various chamber music settings.
