Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival Suzuki Institute will take place July 27-August 4, 2025 at St. Michael's College in Colchester, VT. GMCMFSI will offer Suzuki Teacher Training courses to attending festival students and non-festival participants who qualify to take in the training (see if you qualify here). Teacher trainees will have the opportunity to observe live in-person teaching during Book trainings. The below courses will be offered in 2025:
Every Child Can: Instructor Kristin Jutras, July 27-28, in-person, course fee TBD
Violin Unit 1*: Instructor Kristin Jutras, July 27-August 4, in-person, course fee TBD
Teaching Strategies: Instructor Christie Felsing, July 27-28, in-person, course fee TBD
Teaching Strategies is now a required course for Unit 3 book trainings and beyond. You must have completed Every Child Can, Unit 1, and Unit 2 before taking Teaching Strategies.
*Please note you must have taken or plan to take Every Child Can before taking a Book 1 course.

**Students applying to GMCMF will have the option to indicate interest in Suzuki Training on the application but will need to register separately in April.
