Rose Baker is a violinist and arts administrator based in Boston, Massachusetts. She serves as co-director of Lines and Spaces, an El Sistema-inspired nonprofit in Taunton, Massachusetts that she co-founded in 2024. A dedicated teacher, Rose serves on the faculties of Powers Music School and musiConnects, and she is one of Berklee City Music’s 2025-2026 META fellows. She performs regularly with the Great Hill Quartet, in Lines and Spaces’ community concert series, and at the Seven Hills Chamber Music Festival in central Virginia. Rose holds degrees in violin performance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the Manhattan School of Music, where her primary teachers were Elizabeth Chang and Burton Kaplan. Rose is Senior Program Resident Director for Green Mountain and oversees resident life during the summer.
